Informed Fitness is trauma informed, LGBTQIA+ friendly, anti-racist, inclusive, body positive company, which uses Motivational Interviewing, a client-centered non-judgmental, empathetic coaching process. Instructed and owned by Kelsi Siefert, an approved trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Certified Personal Trainer/Nutrition Coach.

Note: As our commitment to the betterment of mental health, we will be donating 5% of every program fee charged to the Center for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) yearly.

Informed Fitness is a brand based on our own personal uniqueness, focusing on inner and outer strengths, identifying weaknesses, personal acceptance and growth.

We will work together toward identifying your personal goals, strengths, both physical and emotional, and get you to where you want to be in life!

The nutritional aspect of Informed Fitness' Coaching is based around a life style change, looking at food as fuel and integrating healthy habits and flexible dieting into our every day lives. As someone who recovered from an eating disorder of 12+ years, it is integral that my clients understand that food shouldn't be labelled as "good" nor "bad", simply, food - with different caloric and nutritional profiles that have benefits and downfalls if consumed in excess. We will start with a good foundation and understanding of what your current diet looks like, and provide advice as to how you could improve.
I believe that "fad diets" and "diet culture" in general, is bullshit (pardon the crassness) as it tends to promote fatphobia, eating disorders, self esteem issues, hormone imbalances, unsustainable energy supplies, and body dysmorphic tendencies in those it is advertised toward.
Some diets deem carbs as evil (if you eat carbs, you will gain weight - untrue), some restrict your calories so low that it makes functioning in everyday life difficult - The truth of the matter is that food is fuel and we should look at it as such.
It's not going to completely ruin our physique to enjoy a chocolate bar or some ice cream as a treat, if we budget it into our macros!

At it's core, what you see is what you get with Informed Fitness - A brand based in mental health awareness, inclusivity for all, physical and emotional strength and understanding, compassion and growth  - So long as you are willing to put in the work, I will be more than happy to help you reach your goals. Through communication, collaboration, hard work, sweat, and perseverance, you will transform your life for the better.
