Trail rides are offered all year round. Whether you are a heat seeker that loves the summer time or you enjoy bundling up and traipsing through the snow on horseback you will always be pleased with the atmosphere around the Conestogo River. Summer time trails include 1, 2 or 4 hours of beautiful natural scenery including walks through the river and, on the 4 hour trail, a stop off for lunch in the quaint village of St. Jacobs. Winter trails include a one hour through the forests and fields. 

Conestogo River Horseback Adventures is a popular venue for all types of parties. Small or large, casual or corporate, Horseback Adventures offers a wide variety of party activities. Pony rides, lessons, trail rides and wagon or sleigh rides are just a few of the many accommodating activities that Horseback Adventures offers for your party setting. The arena also houses a large heated lounge with tables, a kitchenette, 2 washrooms, a gas fireplace and an adjoining deck. There are windows that overlook the arena and horse fields. An onsite fire pit is also available to our party hosts and guests.

In the different seasons we have day camp in summer, winter as well as March break camp. For the children who would like to spend more one-on-one time with the horses on a regular basis our Saddle Club program is offered to kids between the ages of 7-14 years old. Saddle Club is a 6-week program that runs weekly on for 2-hours a session once a week. Included in each weekly session is a 1 hour riding lesson and a full hour of horse theory.
