Do you wonder why you hear that popping or cracking when you get adjusted 💢?
When one of the chiropractors at Goldsworthy wellness adjusts you, you may or may not hear some pops or cracks. If you do hear these noises, it shouldn't alarm you. It is entirely normal and doesn't cause any harm. If you don't hear these sounds, it is also okay, and the adjustment still works. These noises aren't the sound of your joints moving back into place, it's the sound of a cavitation. A cavitation is that popping or cracking sound that happenings during adjustments, caused by pressure changes in the joint from the high-velocity, low amplitude thrust of the manipulation. This movement of your spine releases small air pockets or bubbles of gases in the synovial fluid, making that popping or cracking sound.
