COFFEE! We are selling delicious, locally roasted Coffee4Kids.ca gourmet coffee to recoup the losses from all our major fundraisers cancelled due to COVID.
Our coffee is $20 a bag – we keep $10 from every bag sold which feeds a child for an entire weekend. Order directly via the website! Businesses! Consider purchasing this as a gift for all your staff or clients. Order deadline for 50 bags+ is Dec 11
th with all other holiday orders due by December 18
th. Our coffee makes a great gift or drink it yourself. Any support helps and It means a lot to the vulnerable children living with chronic hunger that we support. OR if you just want share our website that helps too.
www.coffee4kids.ca ABOUT THE FOOD4KIDS WATERLOO REGION PROGRAM We provide nutritious weekend food bags to children living with chronic hunger across Waterloo Region. It is estimated that there are approximately 2500 children who need our support. With your support, we will be able to feed 750 children across 43 different schools during the 2020-21 school year. This us up from the 570 children we fed last year so we are making progress, but there is a long way to go.
It costs $1000 a year to support one child and we also provide support during all the school breaks (winter/summer/march break). Due to funding, we are currently maxed out feeding 756 children registered across 43 schools (in Catholic/Public and French boards) for the 2020-21 school year. Our mission is to keep growing and expanding until every child who needs support is helped. Volunteers play a significant role in helping us get our work done – they regularly provide their many talents including food bagging, bag packing and food deliver to the schools and homes of the children we serve.
ABOUT COFFEE4KIDS.CA Coffee4Kids.ca is a local company that was created by community minded local entrepreneur Mike Brown of Fibernetics to fund our operations. All profits from the coffee sales go directly to fund our program to help purchase the food to feed our kids. The delicious gourmet coffee is roasted locally using the finest in-season beans collected from the around the world to ensure ethical and sustainable practices.
$10 from EVERY bag of our coffee sold goes to Food4Kids Waterloo Region.
