By now, we’ve all heard of ‘Flash Mobs’ and what they’re all about. More recently, the term ‘Cash Mobs’ has since stemmed. Much like a ‘Flash Mob’, a surprising number of people gather at one location on a set date and time - but in this case, a local business, and with $20 to spend in hand.
The idea behind ‘Cash Mobs’ is to help stimulate local businesses and the city we live in; to encourage local residents to shop locally.
Businesses in turn gain an extra boost in a day’s sales, more exposure and hopefully new customers. It gets people out, and brings a community together.
